Position Title: Sales Engineer

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Business Head
Role Summary:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating leads, managing key accounts, and providing technical sales support for Pantronics India’s power electronics components and solutions. This role bridges technical knowledge with commercial acumen, targeting OEMs, system integrators, and industrial customers across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities in power electronics, EV, energy, and industrial markets
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and on-site technical discussions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and principal partners
- Collaborate with application engineers to recommend the right products/solutions
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and techno-commercial proposals
- Meet assigned sales targets and report on forecasts, market trends, and competitor activity
- Attend exhibitions, conferences, and product training from principals
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or business development
- Strong understanding of power components: IGBTs, MOSFETs, sensors, fuses, capacitors, etc.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting systems
- Ability to travel across regions for client meetings and events
