Power Electronic Measurements (PEM)

Power Electronic Measurements Ltd (PEM) is a pioneering leader in wide-bandwidth current measurement devices utilizing Rogowski technology. Since 1991, PEM has developed and manufactured state-of-the-art Rogowski transducers, once niche, now essential across diverse industries worldwide. With a global footprint spanning 35 countries, PEM serves leading engineering firms and research institutions with standard and custom solutions. Committed to advancing current measurement technologies, PEM’s innovations include numerous patents, publications, and ongoing R&D initiatives in electrical current, voltage, and power measurement.

CWT Range of AC Current Probes

The CWT Rogowski current probe excels in measuring AC currents spanning from 300 milliamps to hundreds of kiloamperes, across frequencies from below 0.1Hz up to over 30MHz.

DCFlex Current Probe

DCFlex Current Probe

The DCflex is a user-friendly, cost-effective clip-around DC current probe designed for measuring DC currents exceeding 2kA. It provides a single-shot measurement with typical accuracy of ±1%. Featuring a small LCD display for current readout and a BNC socket for connecting to DMMs or oscilloscopes, the DCflex is ideal for applications such as metal smelting, cathodic protection, hydro-generation, large inverter motor drives, plating plants, and verifying performance of existing dc shunts or Hall Effect transducers in industrial settings.

CMC Range

PEM’s flexible clip-around Rogowski probe measures high-frequency common mode currents in VSDs, flowing through motor drives to ground via bearings in AC systems. It identifies and evaluates these currents, crucial for preventing motor failures and downtime.

Custom Design

Measuring high-frequency, large-magnitude sinusoidal currents, such as those in RF transmitters, high-frequency induction heating, or plasma applications.

PEM manufactures current probes with a wide bandwidth, capable of measuring from below 1Hz to the MHz range. However, certain applications with very large magnitude, high-frequency sinusoidal currents require custom-designed probes.
